06/18

This ones really stuck with me today.
Psalm 69
1Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.
2I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
3I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
4They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.
5O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.
6Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.
7Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.
8I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.
9For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
10When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.
11I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.
12They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.
13But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.
14Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
15Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
16Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.
17And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.
18Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.
19Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.
20Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
21They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
22Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.
23Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.
24Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.
25Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.
26For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.
27Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.
28Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.
29But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.
30I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
31This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.
32The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.
33For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.
34Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.
35For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.
36The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.

monday june 1st

Today is good! We're busy at work but thats job security and also makes the day go faster. Saturday when we both got off work..we worked in the yard until dark...it looks good! Darla and Paris are still barking crazy at night...I don't know what has started bothering them but I wish it would leave, lol. I feel really good today...I was scared to walk last night thinking I would start hurting but I think the mile may have helped me. Everythings going good...the house is more and more coming together. We're still waiting for one more college to accept or decline Joel for nursing school and we should get it this week or next. Be thinking of him..hes kind of unsure what he really wants to do at this point. Have a good day!

friday...finally??..is it really true?!

Today was a good day. I woke up feeling good which hasn't happened in awhile. I believe Joel is trying to start sleepwalking. In the meantime, the dogs(Darla and Paris) are going nutts at night(I'm guessing theres more creatures coming out in the summer). I had a doctors appt. today that I've been waiting on!! I had been put on a lactose-free and gluten free diet at the same time to see if either would help and I couldn't tell any difference. Today he told me I could eat whatever I felt like eating.....PRAISE THE LORD!!! All the major tests came back ok which is awesome because boy! there were some scary ones. Ashton is graduating preschool tonight ...man! that blows my mind!! It seems like yesterday that he was in diapers...trying SO hard to reach doorknobs and now he goes in and out of them like its nothing. Time flys-don't it!?! Anyways, Joel and I are doing well. Working on the house and praying for what God has laid in our future. Hes leaning towards Hwy. Patrol as a option but we're still open for others. Just keep us in your prayers...we're doing fine...we just have went from no bills hardly to an infinity amount of medical charges at several places that was just unseen for us. But we're doing good...enjoying time together as usual. Hope all of you have a great weekend!

I feel a lot better today thank goodness! I have my appt. Friday that will tell all my test results...please pray that they have found the problem. Joel and I are doing good...he trying to stay devoted to working out and watching what he eats...I'm very proud. The weather today looks really nice so far..in the midst across the street from where I work...gas went up a lot more. Don't forget to pray for our nation as well. Have a good day

I was thinking today of how far I've came. Its just so amazing. I was so far from the Lord in my early teens and didn't want any different. Now, despite it all...I am in church, married, and trying to work on my faults everyday. I am so thankful for God's grace but most of all I think...his mercy. He has picked me up, sat me down, held me, rocked me, loved me, and protected me in days that most would have had a parent as well..I had only him(which is all I do need).I shouldn't be here today but I'm thankful for his mercy. Pray for my grandmother...she (since of recently breaking her hip) isn't able to do much yet and with my papaw passing away...she can't do much to keep her mind off of it. I've been staying most of these week nights(this week) with her and trying to do all I can to make her smile...even though its hard for me at times being in the bed I used to watch TV with him and being in the house in general...I know its much harder for her(Would have been married 60 years in August). Also, I'm suppost to get some test results today..PLEASE pray if nothing revealed that maybe it will just leave me....its going on 6 months now...I do good at work mostly ....its mainly at night and morning time. Pray for Joel..hes woke up sick..his chest hurts so bad even just when walking...especially when coughing...but he doesn't have other issues(I HOPE not) ...it could be broncitis or pnemonia. Hope all of you have a good week!

Feb.26th 2009...Almost Friday woohoo!!

Today is Thursday and you know whats next....Friday....We are so ready for the weekend. Works going great and our life is calming back down now that we have figured out whats wrong with me and what we can do to help. Joel and I are staying faithful to going to the fitness place....it gets hard having to constantly go even when we're tired and really don't feel like it but usually we feel better after we go. Its usually late at night but we still go. About our animals: We no longer have our chickens to get eggs from...I guess it was a possum or something that got them. We don't think its a fox because there was so much left of them. We're still working on our house and I just keep holding on to the idea of how wonderful it will be to have it perfect and how we want it one day. Also, Jr. Church is also going well...the kids seem to love the activities and we keep getting more ideas. I hope it continues to grow. Joel and I are going to Memphis on Saturday..all day to a conference just for that. Its suppost to help and give ideas. We are just loving it. I love kids so much and just look forward to it all week. On into March...March 27th-29th...Joel and I are going to this Marriage Conference in Frankin, TN(right by Nashville). We have been blessed with this trip, its timing, and just everything is perfect. We get to stay in an unbelievable hotel and the conference is held on a different floor in the hotel. Our dating anniversary is that weekend and its not too far from our wedding anniversary(April 22nd). The timing is perfect...it wasn't looking like we were going to be able to do anything for our anniversary because of my recent medical bills and we had just decided we would pray and if something worked out it did and if not...it didn't. We are just so excited that not only are we going out of town but getting Christian advice as well. All we will be having to pay for is food and gas and that is just blowing us away! A wonderful couple we know just felt lead to do it and they've been about 3 times and it has really helped them. I could just go on and on about how wonderful our God is. The hotel is joined with a Galleria which is a mall...we won't have to really leave to get to do anything...the elevator will let you out to it....this is so neat. Anyways God has really blessed us....my sickness is still not what I wanted to hear but it could have been much worse. I just praise God for all he has helped us through. Hope all of you have a great week.

Everything is great!!wonderful!! We're already planning our year Anniversary...we've both been planning and each other didn't know it. Its so exciting!! I think its important to take a day to focus back on each other...its so easy with the world and its fast pace to get distracted and go without thinking or doing for each other. I think its very important to listen and not half way...like looking at the TV and trying to listen...that says that their not important as everything else....I've got so much to learn but I'm trying real hard I think. Anyways...all is pretty much good for us. Talk to you soon!!
