DEC. 22nd

We had our first Christmas dinner with one of our families Sunday afternoon...it just doesn't even seem time for it. We had a great time and then last night after church we had our meal with all of them and then played games. Joel and I are so excited about our first Christmas married!!Time just flys!! New Years Eve night 8- 12 is our Watchnight service...eat, preaching, singing, and pray old year out and new year in. Anyways, we're doing good...trying to keep our house warm...that things so hard to heat. We hope all of you have a great Christmas if we don't see you until after.!! Talk to you all soon!

Everythings going good..I'm getting over the sickness I had forever it seemed like. Joel and I are great and the house is looking so much better! We are still working little by little. Please continue to pray for Joels dad and his situation. Today my little brother is 18 yrs. old and I can't believe it!! He woke up soo sick this morning so be thinking of him too. 12-4-08 Thursday

Sorry its been awhile...we have been going 90-nothing. Thanksgiving was great...our Christmas tree is so pretty ..and we're so excited about our first Christmas(married).Joel and I are doing good and still making progress on the house. All our animals are fine and growing. My stepsister Bessie...that got married in August just found out that shes due a baby on July 29th...which is excited for her. Ginger and and her crew are getting well...they've had such a hard time...every week a couple of them have been sick with something since winter started..so be thinking of them. Also, Joel's dad and his mom's mother both had gall bladder surgery today...his grandmother is in recovery. Please pray for his dad...while inside the doctor saw his liver was hard and yellow with spots on it and a few other things didn't look good either...just pray please their running tests.

11/10/08 the solemn truth

Whoo...today has dragged on but been a good day. After the election and all that has finally past over us...We have had so much going...Ashtons been sick, Braxton in Hospital, Ginger and Lance moving, and a family friend is not doing good at all after a very unexpected massive stroke. Joel and I however are doing good and enjoying every chance together...whether arguing a midst our differences or not,lol. We have our first Christmas party of the year with my work...this Saturday night....I can't believe its already here!! I keep walking outside during Saturday afternoon when I get off and just feel the breeze and leaves of the beautiful Fall weather...a midst all the colors in our yard and truly then realize my problems are so small for God...nothings to big...hes made all around me. I'm just so thankful for the solemn and applauding truth. Goodbye to the beautiful blooms but hello to the beautiful leaves!!

Today is going well....its getting winter you can tell. Pray for Torrie(Joel's brothers wife) she has broncitis, the flu, and we're thinking strep too. I feel sorry for her. Everythings great with Joel and I...we're getting lots done to the house. Darla...our dog...attempted to play with a skunk last night...guess some just have to learn,lol. 10-13-08 Monday

Dreary day outside and actually today hasn't been too hectic at work today. A lot of places are closed and I was expecting it to be much worse. Joel and I had a good weekend. Darla is back out (our dog) ...she couldn't get out for a couple days with the stitches from being fixed but now she doing better and its healing. Joel thinks hes coming down with tonsilitus ...he keeps bad tonsils anyways but you can't convince him to take time to remove them. Everything else is going good as far as I know. Our house is really picking up in looks maybe we can paint the outside real soon since its cooling down. We're getting geared up for Cowboy Sunday at Church Sunday. Talk to you soon!!

Rain...

A wise person once said, "Don't worry about getting through the storm-learn how to dance in the rain." I just love that quote...I love rain in general...even though it makes me sleepy usually...so I appreciate that quote I think more than some would. This past weekend, Joel and I went and saw the movie Fireproof...it was beyond awesome...it really makes you appreciate and even look at your marriage differently. I told Joel I would love to purchase it and us take at least one night a month and watch it. Everythings moving along with the house...one day it will be done and I will think it happened fast but right now its just completely unfinished. Continue to pray for Ginger her surgery is Thurs. Morning and today is Torrie's Birthday so wish her a good one. And remember thank God for the rain(both kinds).

Little is much when God is in it...10/03/08

Hello everyone! Joel and I are doing great...always staying busy and still each others best friend...a wise man once told us...if your each others best friend...you will make it and in a lot of ways thats so true. I can't imagine expecting our marriage to go to the highest level possible and me not being able to tell him any and everything. On another note, Everything on our little farm are all doing good. We have plenty of bills and it just amazes me every week how God takes our"little" and makes it "big" and takes care of it all. Continue to pray for Ginger...her surgery is Thursday...Joel and I are staying with her all weekend since Lance is out of town hiking up a mountain. I figure we'll have fun hanging out like we always do. Well everythings going just great and hope everythings treating you well too. Have a great weekend!

the chill is coming faster than we think...09/19

Today is Friday and an unusual one at that...not so busy at work. Everythings going

good we're both staying busy and working on the house. I got his wedding band and its gorgeous...I spent much thought on it and got it engraved on the inside and also got comfort fit as well as the widest available. He was so proud and I to...for that reason mostly. All the animals on our little farm are doing good. I was so thankful to spend a long afternoon with my dad's parents this week...its just something I need to make time for. I wouldn't trade it for nothing...we picked pears and talked all afternoon...it was truly a blessing. Its real rainy today but in lots of ways we need it. On another note, we're planning our Christmas party at work...it doesn't even seem time but it is. Everythings good and we hope you as well. Talk again soon!!

Fall is starting...Today is Monday everythings going good.Work hasn't been crazy today which Mondays usually are.

Taco Bell is what I ate for lunch and it was only $3.00!!! Woohoo! : ) Well church was great yesterday-we had 2 good services. Gods still blessing Joel and I everyday...everythings going great for us. We are still working on the house but we're getting there...it not only takes time but money too so we have to do little at a time.

Its fixing to be Christmas before we know it so I'm trying to start preparing for that too. Well sorry to cut short...lunch break is ending for today so I will catch all of you again soon!!!

I had a great trip and a great fellowship time this weekend. I missed Joel but I did real well...just had a great time and it really didn't bother me (I left him a letter for every morning and night hidden in different places in the house) so that was fun I got to text him each time to tell him where it was. Today has been a great Friday. I have got everything caught up on the house and have packed to leave for Alabama. I had to get Joels church clothes for Sunday ironed and everything done that would need to be done before I get back on Sunday afternoon so I've had to think ahead all day. I'm real excited about going to the youth conference-I think we'll have a great time. I've got Darla and the puppies doing well and so are the horses and chickens too(and anything else we may have :).. ). Lifes going well for Joel and I...happy as ever. I think I'll be fired up since I'll be at that this weekend and our Revival at our church starts Sunday night-Wednesday night. Maybe it won't rain too much...and if it does it'll be alright...I heard that it was suppost to. Well catch you guys later!God Bless!

08-20-08...my birthday

Today has been a good day. Not to busy at work and we got rain that we need. I am 20 years old today and I think this has been the best birthday for me. My coworkers bought me lunch and balloons with the cutest ceramic puppy. Joel, me, ginger, and lance are suppost to go eat at Olive Garden and go shopping for my b-day this Sat. night. I'm excited simply because he thought about it and I really haven't bought clothes in forever-which I really need some. Everything is going great including Joel and I. 8-17-08..Sunday

Today was Sunday and we had a great day at church. We had service, a fellowship, and then another service and went home. We do it that way on occasions. It was our pastor's wifes birthday and their anniversary. He had a great message on marriage after the meal..it was just great for all of us. Suppers hopefully going to be good..I have marinated tenderloins all night wrapped in bacon and I plan to do a angel food cake with strawberry glaze that I have had making overnight as well in the fridge. No for sure of anything else really. Joel and I are doing great and we got one piece of trim up in the livingroom and it looks good too. I am so excited about our house....I hate that everything is going so slow but it has and will definetly pay off. Hope all of you have a great rest of the day.

Rain, rain, and more rain....its been real wet today and its still raining which means I get sleepy,lol. Work is going good...our computer has messed up and we're having to write everything but the good thing is that we haven't been too busy. The puppies are sooo big!! We have officially took them off drinking milk. Joel and I got the 2nd coat of paint on the livingroom walls so now its off to the trim work. We're both doing better than ever and Sept.22nd will be our 6 month Anniversary...it blows my mind. Anyways gotta head out now...toodle loos for now.

Tuesday..08/05/08

Today is Tuesday and was garbage day! I actually love garbage day for the reason..it gets taken out. Plus, more so this time because I had cleaned out our room that has boxes and stuff...as much as I could. Well, last night we officially got a new Air conditioner...it is huge! It has a handy remote and cools the house in no time...I hate we had to spend the money with all we have in the fire right now but Joel thought we needed it ...he knows best....so I'm sure we'll put it to use for many years hopefully.Darla and our baby hunting dogs are getting so big!! me....sick

Friday I had to leave work...and go to doctor. The fever part is leaving me though(which was my biggest problem)...I think its just something that has to do what its going to do and leave on its own...nothing I do seems to help. I have stayed faithful to the sinus rinse...it works(just feels weird...something up your nose)! I'm so thankful that the fever gone!!! I pretty much was in a "rabbit hole" all weekend...On another note, Bessies wedding went well. I'm glad for her. And on Joel's side....his parents got a new vehicle...Nissan Versa...great gas mileage....I'm glad for them too. Today is steady at work but not bad. I can't wait til' I'm much better so I can hold lil' Braxton...can't be around him right now... :( Well have a great day!! God Bless!

thinking of my lil' cowboys...

Today has been so adventurous today. We started out having to call the fire dept. at work today and its been busy ever since. I think its starting to slow down though. I was just thinking of my lil' cowboys...and the new baby...I can't call him one because Lance says Joel will not be his favorite like Ashtons,hehe. For lunch today I had a classic p'zone from pizza hut and boy do I recommend it! Get the classic..which is supreme....its enough for 2 people and 3 depending on the people....for just $5.99 too.....you've got to try it. Anyways on another note, we have our puppies another round on the parvo shot last night....since their mom died from it...we make sure they get it when its time. Joel and I haven't been sick lately and neither has our pets or family so we have lots to be thankful for. We are doing great...trying to stop in our busy lives at least one night a week for a movie with each other(last night was our night this week) I think its helpful and healthy for our marriage...if you don't take time who will?? no one can for you...anyways this is it for another chapter in our lives...have a great night!

Monday the 28th of July

Today has been good but soooo busy...everyone planned to be at the pharmacy this morning I believe and at the same time at that. I have some cookies in the fridge that I'm thinking about cooking tonight when I get home....(pretty sad I guess but their turtle cookies :) yum!).My pastors wife gave the ladies these great devotionals and I just love them! They fit in my purse so I can bring them on my lunch break. The puppies and Darla (and horses) are all get no over-the-weekend vet bills woohoo. Ginger(Joels sister) 's new baby Braxton is doing good...the doctor just doesn't want him out in public for another month since he was such a premature birth...we went over there after church last night to see him and Ashton and hangout. We ate cinnamon rolls and drank the famous "Highpoint Coffee"....it was fun and its easy since their house is walking distance away. Joel and I are doing good...I'm just sooo ready for the house to get done. I really want to work on it tonight because I saw a spider as big as my hand in our bedroom but you know its like a playground for them....theres tools and boxes and carpet rolled up everywhere. It'll all work out in due time...I just hate looking behind me or thinking somethings crawling on me when its not really,lol. Church was great yesterday...we need to have our school supplies bought and bring to church Wednesday night to pack them for all the bus kids new school year..we do this every yr. and I think its a great help! 07/25/08...tgif

Today the weather is pretty good...just alittle higher of a temp. than I like. Work hasn't been as busy as some Fridays, but still kind of steady. On another note, Joel and I are doing good. No vet bills this week or any hospital bills for us so we're really blessed. The house is going pretty good...not as fast as I'd like but with us both working to a later hour every night its hard to get caught up. Today has been a hard day for me personally but I know its all in the Lords hands. I just wish I could make everyone happy but if your doing that then your not doing something right. Anyways, church is going good..I can't wait til' Braxton can start going. Doctor orders...he has to stay in for a couple weeks.....since he was early. The puppies are doing good....their growing ans adorable. Later on, I have to do the delivery runs....I never know for sure how many I have before I leave because some come at the last minute and some nursing homes don't know they need something til' after I get back. I like doing deliveries...I feel like I'm helping some people....some people can get out and just don't want to but some can't get out at all. Joel and I got some more Netflix movies in and we're Lord willin' going to watch one together tonight. Thursday...7/24/08

Today is so Hot!!!He He ! It can always be worse though. Work is going great today. We had westside to eat and a customer brought us tomatoes!!! Fun day! The hunting puppies are just-a-growing and so is Darla our dog. The house is getting worked on as much as we can and looks lots better than when we got it. FRIDAY and new puppies

Today is Friday and has been a good day...I'm glad that it is too. : p Work hasn't been too busy but the traffic sure has outside.! Good night! Its like the president is standing outside passing out something free or something. Joel and I are great...we might do the second coat on the livingroom walls Saturday afternoon after work. We now have 3 new puppies...Montana, Rufus, and Brady (girl and 2 boys) but Joel says not to pet them a lot because they aren't going to be out pets...they will be hunting dogs. They are part Fiest and Bloodhound...and are adorable. They woke wide awake at 5:45 this morning crying for milk..their so sweet.....their mom passed away and Mel that works with me needed to get rid of all nine puppies so we took some. The puppies are only 4 weeks old and I think this will be a fun adventure...lol. I'll have to remember not to pet them a lot cause I sure do want to baby them! : p Mrs. Marthas husband Jerel is geting us 4 new doors for the house...he has plenty of extra doors(one for bathroom, 2 bedrooms, and the front door)...he is also building us a shelf to go above washer and dryer and also above bathtub(considering its one of the old ones with legs and theres nowhere to sit your bath stuff) these things are really going to improve the house...I'm so thankful and excited!!! WEDNESDAY

Today is Wednesday. Joel and I are great and we've been steady at work today...I always have something to do even if its slow since I have more the the clerk title really...which I don't mind...that says to me JOB SECURITY!!! : ) We tried the Hershey Dunkers at Pizza Hut today and they were soooooooooo good. I have to get back to working but just alittle update coming your way.

Woohoo...Friday is here,lol. Joel and I are doing great. We have the laminate flooring down in the livingroom and painted the walls Red Ginseng....it looks good but will be much better when we get the trim and new plug covers up...all that will be country white. Its coming along for us, its definetly better than how it was when we first got it. Just think one day when we have it ALL done..thats it no house payment or anything unless he decides to move or the house starts falling apart. Today, work dragged and dragged...well for the most part...theres always something I can do...my feet have just really been getting to me lately standing. This too will pass...I hope. Church was great Sunday ...our 4th celebration...Peach won the homemade ice cream contest and rightfully so...it was so awesome but it all was. Tonight I think we have to do the dreadful...go grocery shopping at Walmart : l....I guess we need to look at the positive ...at least we're able to go. Anyways, lifes treating us good...we really are truly blessed in every category. I just pray that he'll have his job farming for the Morris's for alittle while longer...the tornado took the whole building so hes just helped clean and farm but after that.....its going to sadly eventually end. He just loves his job so much and then the stress of finding one. But it will all work out. Romans 8:28...Anyways I'm fixing to plan supper so we will catch you all soon!!

Today is Thursday and I dropped my pictures off at Walmart from our short honeymoon. I can't wait to get them back!!! : ) It was so fun. My reception pictures mostly were all real good and we just had a couple people using digital cameras. Last night my car went hot on my way home from work...and I just got so upset...it just worried me but Joel came and got me and I was fine,lol. I just get alittle emotional sometimes :). Anyways have a great day.

moday after 4th

Today is Monday after our little trip. The trip was great and can't wait to see my pictures from it. We watched fireworks from the pool and then later went in hotel and watched the capital celebration. The next day we got to go to the botanical gardens of Memphis. Thats just a quick summary but it was a nice peaceful trip with my best friend/sweetheart. We have been swamped today which was expected since we took off for the 4th-6th. The weather today is suppost to get to 97 degrees!! Good night! Well I'm blessed and inside and building...lol. Going to go for now!

Today has been a good day. Our floor in the livingroom is pretty much finished. Its that laminate wood look...cute. Kim's birthday (pharmacist of today) is today so we have cake and we're ordering from Mcalisters. Work hasn't been too bad busy yet which wouldn't bother us at all cause its been swamped all week. I am counting down to Friday night (Reception) I am soooooooooo excited for Joel and I...getting to get together with all our friends and family. Anyways i have to go pick up our food now. Today has been a day of relief. Everything is working out. I have a wonderful husband who loves and supports me which is worth my everyday of existance. I work with a bunch of different ladies but no matter how different they are great to relate to and talk to. Toodle loos for now!

Today we were in the NA Gazette announcing our marriage and all...just a couple typos (which is a record for them I believe lol). We'll be in the next NA news exchange this week too. I just am so ready for this reception...getting all those pictures with everybody. I think and hope its going to be real fun. Anyways, its still hot outside but we're blessed with a nice cool breeze every few seconds your out there. Maybe the bad weather has left at least for alittle while but theres no telling. Its soo hot outside today but still a beautiful day! The reception is exactly 2 weeks away and I am sooo thrilled and can't wait. The invitations were sent out today and we should be in the next issue of the NA Gazette and NA news exchange...so everything is coming together! Joels working hard as usual out in the fields today and I am busy busy at the pharmacy. I really can't wait til' Saturday after work...I hope to get alittle nap!!! Joel and I watched "The Ultimate Gift" last night for the 3rd night in a row...we highly recommend it!!: ) ttul

Thursday

Well its Thursday...it started out sooo hectic..I think its going to turn out better though. Just a crazy morning. Joel and I are doing great...couldn't be better. I brought him home a Reeses and a lil' card last night(Reeses is his favorite) so I'm still winning him over good :). The reception is getting closer by the second...I am sooo excited too! Then, Sunday is Fathers Day so we'll be making our rounds Sunday. Next weekend Saturday is Gingers Baby Shower and Sunday is Bessies bridal shower so I'll be busy. Also, I think the reception planning is turning out great. On another note, Ashton and I have swam everyday since Sunday night(except I swam alone Monday...he went to see his other grandparents) so we are getting our exercise in. Well talk soon!

My Better1/2

These are pretty flowers but nothing compared to what I got today. My morning and day starting hectic and little did I know my husband sent Beautiful yellow roses trimmed in pink to my work with a card saying "Hope your having a good day.I love you-Joel"...talk about doing a 360...my day got changed from then on out. It just proves again...hes not just my husband, hes my better 1/2..we're one and he truly knows me...and that was just what I needed. God truly blessed me with him...toodle loos!!

Hey there!!! Today is like the Sahana desert...literally I can't imagine being somewhere like that!! Well we are close to having a reception for our family and friends...hopefully it will be a great time to visit and honour the marriage...who cares about gifts. Joel is still out farming since this morning and will probably be gone til' dark...hes a hardworker but he does over do himself sometimes. The day is beautiful though and hopefully it will be tomorrow! See you soon!!

I'm at work...its never been this slow since I've been here. This is a work picture of every lady but one. I love my job but today is sooo slow...ha! I'm so glad in all of this that still no one has been

harmed. That right there is only a miracle from

our Lord. It has hit so many places but everyone

seemed to have gotten out right in time or been

running late and was lucky to not have been home on time.

The Lord is so merciful. Joel and I are doing great and

enjoying times together. Darla, our dog is 2 months old

but already reaches my neck when she puts her front paws on me. She is so precious.

Anyways, I'm just so greatful to still have a church, home, job, and husband considering the

storms. I'm truly blessed!

I am so thankful for Joel and I to be alive after this disasterous storm. It really shows how amazing God is! Joel hadn't been away from work long at all when it destroyed his work place. No one was hurt and everyones helping everyone with the damage. Everythings going good for us-we're still two lovebirds : )...I just thank the Lord for all hes done for us and especially leading me to Joel. Have a great day!!

Today is soo pretty outside-It really shows how wonderful and how great of an artist God is. Joel was out mowing this morning and I can't wait to see it when I get out of work(it was growing so fast). 04/27/08 Raining on Sunday

Junior church had a good turnout this morning. We watched a movie this afternoon and I did some cleaning. We're having a blast...and having a lot of funny bloopers everyday too. Its been so wet but I can't complain as to how dry we got last year. Its just been a relaxing day today and we're ready to tackle a new week at work.

04-25-08 Finally Friday

Joel and I are still doing very well as newlyweds(since Tuesday). Still getting a lot done at the house. If I could only remember to get my last name changed over with everything. Today is an aweful pretty day outside-I sure could get some outside work done today. Saturday (tomorrow)my boss is having me a lingerie shower at her house for me with my coworkers(this should be interesting : ) ). I'm sure that we'll have a blast- I work with an amazing group of women. Well anyways Joel and I can't wait to get home from work everyday to see each other and I hope that never changes! : ) I've been bringing home a good article out of a magazine to read everyday and we spend much time talking about our days and we never run out of things to say. 04-17-08...pretty day

Today has been great at work...busy which is good...shows job security. I came to work and realized I didn't get all the paint off of my nails this morning! : ) I was up at the house we're working on and was painting the antique tub (one with legs). The house is absolutely going great!! We're getting so far especially looking at where we were. We are both so excited about getting in there and just being together-taking care of each other. The wedding is getting closer by the minute and the time of it couldn't be anymore perfect. We've dated for over 3 years now and care stronger for each other every morning we wake up. Its great cause even though we both enjoy different things-no matter what we're doing we just enjoy each others company. We think of each other so much fun to be around!! Logically theres going to be problems sometimes but we have came through a lot thus far and we seem to really pull together through stuff...coming out stronger. We dated through school and its just all worked out so great for us. I hope everyone gets to make it to share our special special day!! toodle loos!

Well I have been under the weather and out of work for 4 days!!! But I am so glad to be back on top of the world now and out of the house(back to work). Joel, in the meantime, has been doing all he can at the house without me. The wedding countdown continues....my work is throwing me a lingerie party on the 26th of the month and that should be interesting. Its the best bunch of ladies though-I'm sure we'll have a blast. Now, if I could just tell Joel and it hit him how close the wedding is and they need to go get their tuxs!! Oh goodness, MEN!! : ) Anyways, Its a beautiful day outside and I hope all of you are having a time with it.!! Toodle doo!! 04.03.08...thursday!!!(close to Friday)

Today is Thursday and I'm am soo tired...either the rain or just the busy week has officially done it to me : ). Joel feels mostly better which is great. Even though I work til' noon on Sat.-I soo enjoy getting close to Friday. The wedding stuff is all still smooth sailing. F.Y.I...I just ate the .79 cent Triple Layer Nachos from Taco Bell for lunch and oh yes I said .79 cents....their sooo good too. The pharmacy is steady today but nothing overbearing. The house is coming along...not as fast as I'd love but nothing ever goes as that fast(snap of fingers-I prefer) haha!!! But overall today has been a normal ok-work day, which is great. I hope everyone else has had the same!!! ; )

04-02-08 "tuesday"

Well all the wedding stuff has come together sooo well thus far. And about Joel, he has red throat and a lot of drainage(prob. tonsilitus too)...but I'm grateful its not the flu. Work on the otherhand, has been a breeze so far today so maybe I can get out in time to make it to church before its over. The house is really coming along...if only we could get started with our carpet....Joel's knees are nothing but scar tissue -due to no collagen so he can't do anything like that. We're really looking forward to the wedding and I'm sure the "decorating bloopers!" And as a final note...what about the sea animals??Does anyone care about the beautiful sea animals :)...their sooo pretty and the waters so polluted...I'd like more movies and cartoons for the animals...maybe even the proceeds to go towards the sea life...anyways thats just me thinking again...Tootle loos(I think thats how you say it...or at least thats how I have for years HA)!!

04-01-08 "April Fools Day!!"

My boss was telling me about these blogs...so I thought I would start one for Joel and I. First of all, Joel has been sick all night!! I feel so bad because I'm at work and can't be there to take care of him,but thats how it is :). Outside of our jobs, We've been working constantly fixing up the old house and May will be here in no time!! It'll all work out though. Secondly, We have been swamped at work today (its the 1st...everyones Medicaid punches start over). Boy, what a day.

Well anyways to Joel...I hope he and his mom are careful...its pouring outside. Joel was going to try to make it to one class in Booneville today with his mom driving and then go to the Doc. Guess we'll see the verdict on him later today....(pray..he feels sooo bad)
